In Vector Control, Larvae collection DipSticks are of
utmost importance. They provide the species of
mosquitoes and the approximate volume before which corrective or control actions are undertaken like spray.Most of the Dipsticks have a fixed length and carry a semi-shallow bowl without any measurement markers.The ones which are expandable are quite costly. We designed this simple to use Expandable Dipstick (8ft-11inches) that has a measuring beaker. The volume of water and the number of larvae’s collected provide a rough estimation of the volume of larvae likely to be present in the specific area. The cup can be adjusted to 2 different angles based on the target collection
